CTS V1 Flex Fuel

CTS V1 Flex Fuel
I have been doing some research on installing a flex fuel sensor on my 05 V1 (P59 ECM with 12592618 OS) and tuning it.
What I have gathered so far from other threads is when people want to add a FF sensor to their Gen III ECM's, P01 equipped vehicles need an 02 FF Tahoe Operating System, or OS and from what I understand, the Tahoe OS has to match your stock OS or HP Tuners will freak out and say your OS and VIN don't match.
To avoid that, I've seen where people have upgraded to the P59 ECM's with factory FF. Some trucks have the same 12592618 OS as my V1 but as ShorTuning has stated in another thread, some parameters in the background of the truck OS, that we cannot alter in HPT, severely screw with the DBW aspect of the V1 and C5 Z06 due to I believe the readings from the TAC signal in the gas pedal.
Sorry for the long winded intro, but I thought it necessary as most of this info is from early 2018 and I know how quickly things change so I was wondering a few things. 1) Is it possible now with newer versions of HPT to segment swap only the FF spark blend and fuel tables from the truck 12592618 OS to work on the V1? 2) Is there any other solution to "unlock" the FF tables other than writing binary code like Shortuning has? 3) Could I swap to a FF truck P59 and then segment swap to the V1 engine parameters to keep the TAC happy and take advantage of FF?

I’m using HPT. I read where the V P59 has issues running FF, have you ran into this?
i will also look up the FF thread. Is it a problem if I’m not running 3 bar at the moment? I’m still N/A
EDIT: So the xdf files you posted up are for the 603 and 604 OS's, I have a 2618. I'm a little confused on how I can use those files. Would you mind explaining?
