Default Extremely Rich @WOT

Hey guys, I have a 99 formula ls1, btr4,243s,ls6 intake, sd 60’s and a racetronix 255 in tank pump. After is swapping over to the 60lb inj I’m Having an issue at WOT. The car pegs 10.0 afr immediately. The car cruises at around good, idles well, just extremely fat at wot. What should I be looking for? Has brand new GM map sensor, and 85mm truck maf.

You need to change the injector data in the tune to reflect the new injectors. After that you might have to tune some of the other tables like VE and MAF to also account for the change in fueling.

I changed the injector data. It wouldn’t even run with the old 36lb data. I may have something wrong in the data, not ruling that out.

Do u have your ifr table setup according to being a return or returnless setup? Tht will cause issues.

Also did u actually make your injector data larger than 60#? Bc deka 60s are 60# at 43psi. Gm stuff is 58psi. So they will actually be larger than 60. More close to 70.

If you are running a returnless setup tht seems about right.

Have u tried pulling fuel and seeing how it acts at wot? Are u certain your wideband is good?

Yes, it’s a stock f body returnless system with a racetronix 255. The wideband is brand new and seems to function fine. I have it on the bank 1 . Where do you suggest I start pulling fuel at, my maf table?

Post a file of your tune up with a log of whats happining. Easiest thing to change just for ***** is the PE table. Tht way your maf isnt messed with.

U know what i had an issue like tht on a tahoe i tuned a while back. Always went to 10s afr no matter what. Scanner showed ecu commanding 10s afr.

Ended up being a bad maf and cold air intake tube had blowed off tb. It was more so the cai blowed off. Tightened it up and swapped maf to be safe had 12.5 afr. Done pretty much the same as yours. Pig rich on a hit and would stay stuck rich till i restarted truck. Idled and ran fine till u made a hit.
