Default Holley terminator x no spark

I installed a holley system on my l76. Went through the setup wizard successfully, did the tps reset on the drive by wire, have an rpm signal. However I do not have spark. Im thinking even though it has a cranking signal, its cranking too slowly. I get around 100 +/- 10 rpm cranking. I know the battery is weak. Charging and will try again tomorrow. Is this a logical conclusion or am I missing something?

So I swapped out the battery and it cranks between 107-110 rpm, the lowest the volts get is 10.7. Consistent syncing message on the hand held. With the new battery it started to cough like it wants to start and then nothing. I'm at a loss. Any ideas?

The Holley can be more sensitive to voltage during cranking. 10.7 sounds a little low are you sure you have a good battery? Also check power to the red white ecu power wire as that controls relay for injectors...

I thought 10.7 sounded low. It's a brand new battery. I have power on the red white wire, and verified it's hot during cranking

I had a similar issue and Holley told me at least 11 volts to fire.. charged battery and it started. It is not as forgiving as stock ecu. Mine sounded like it was cranking fine but no dice... I would get a solid charge on battery then try it. If no luck Holley tech are really helpful give them a call.

Ok, it's on charge and i will try again. Is it a bad idea to connect the charger on with the holley plugged in?

I think you are ok to run charger but they are pretty clear to never try starting with it hooked up. I guess like a high amp start mode... I have used a charger with mine hooked up...

To test/get it started with a weak battery did you try lowering the crank to run RPM? You can put 50 RPM in there if you want and it should fire right up.

That just determines when it leaves cranking fuel and timing and transitions to running tables I think so not sure how that will make it start but worth a try I guess.

Cars with the little lightweight batteries turn over a tad slower, I lower this and they fire right up.

awsome, thank you. I didn't see these responses, I will change it now. I pulled the plugs and cranked and got spark, but with plugs in none, donuts definitely crank rpm. Thank you

You did attach the grounds to both heads from the harness didn't you?

In the terminator software it us under spark.. cranking parameters

Got it, thank you. I've got to get a cable for my computer then. I finally got a blue light on the LEDs indicating too slow of a crank to get signal. Its cranking around 115rpm

It's running. I believe it was a voltage issue. Changed my ground location and the voltage stayed at 11 while cranking and it fired.

what ground location did you change ive been having alot of issues with this mines reading sync and sometimes itll say 40 rpm
