Default knock retard issues

So i am having some knock retard issues. New motor with forged pistons, tsp stage 2.5 5.3 heads, small summit cam 209/217 550 lift 112+1 lsa. Sucker has knock retard no mater what i do it seems. it has 93 octane and zero timing and it still pulls timing. Im talking 1 degree of timing and it pulls 3 degrees out. Im not sure what the heck is going on. So far i have copied the low octane table to the high octane table, lowered timing, lowered timing some more and installed 160 degree thermostat. Seems like none of that has effected the timing retard at all. The motor is very quiet mechanically when running. No audible ticks or anything. before it had some junk lifters and had ticking all the time and didnt have this issue. I really need some help here. i have attached a log file and tune file.

There was another thread on here where replacing the knock sensors solved the KR problem.
Another possibility would be to lower the sensitivity in the tune.

We have a lsa blower showing up next week. I will probably replace them when it’s off. Also how do you lower the sensitivity?

If you use HPTuners, I believe it has a provision for doing that

I have hp tuners. I’m not real experienced in tuning. I have compared this tune to a few of my others and only one of the other tunes and only have minor knock sensor differences. Not sure what one turns the down.

Just comparing your control module voltage to mine. Yours goes as high as 24v and low of 6v ... Mine has a high of 14v low of 12v ... Something strange goin on there..

I would zero out the burst knock tables.
I would also remove all engine torque management.

I have seen both of these show up as KR, it's weird I know.

I checked all the power connections and grounds. All clean and tight. Wiggles all the harness and nothing changed. Only thing is today it’s reading 32 volts today with the engine on or off. Wiggling wires does not effect the voltage reading. Battery reads 12.6. Think my ecm is taking a dump or something.

i will give that a try. During my drives it always says burst knock 0.0 degrees. I have a holley on the way but would like to try and fix this before it arrives. Thanks.

Zeroed the burst knock and Tq management and got zero knock retard. Put the factory low octane table back in and gave her a rip. Only hit 2 degrees of knock one time. Seemed like a sensible place to have knock also. Runs pretty good. Massively rich in pe but runs great. Thanks for the help. Glad I was able to figure it out before swapping to the Holley. It’s still getting the Holley system when the blower goes on. Will be able to finish the break in now on the stock ecm. Thanks for the help guys. Ps. Still says 32 volts all the time.
