Default Hard cold starts and dying while driving

Hello,

I have a 2001 Firebird with a built ls2 and I’m having problems with the cold start and dying at stops when driving. The hvac vacuum line was not hooked up when I bought the vehicle so when I got it home and plugged it in I started having these issues, unplugged it and issues went away. I went had a tune on it and it seems the motor was tuned to speed density and is not running boost nor has a mass airflow sensor. The guy that tuned it recommended a new throttle body as it had a cheap Holley knock off in it with new Iac and tps. I replaced with a Nick Williams tb and new sensors. The problem consists. Any ideas?

I should have mentioned there is no maf, previous owner removed and had tuned to speed density even though no boost was ever run.

Find your ECM (computer) and see if it is GM or another brand. Stock units are all GM.
