Replacing PCM need to know what computer I have I have spent a couple years trying to sort out what happened to my Speedometer. In process I discovered corrosion all over my PCM & terminals. I cleaned all that up, which resolved some issues. However, speedometer never came back. I tore apart the harness, cluster, and pulled the PCM. First bench test of PCM passed. I put it back in car, started it up and the speedometer moved but then stopped responding after about 10 seconds of driving. I pulled PCM again, only to find out it wouldn't pass my VSS bench test again.
Long story short, I'm going to get a second PCM and try it. I'm not 100% sure what I have currently nor how to burn the VIN number into the new one.
Vehicle is a 1999 C5 Corvette. Throttle by wire setup. It's custom tuned, and I've downloaded my tune using HP Tuners.

Assuming those are the last four digits of the SERV.NO. ?
Thanks for pointing that out. I'm looking and the 0411 PCM is slightly faster / newer. I assume will work as a direct swap once programmed correctly?

It's possible I could flash the new config for free... I saw it years ago but didn't have a use for it then. It just came to mind talking with a mechanic friend of mine about this little project.

I ordered a PCM off eBay. Photos showed a SERV.NO. 09354896 which is what I have. They sent out a SERV.NO. 12583827 instead.
I don't know anything about this one... Would it fit? It says Blue on one connector and clear for the other...

You need one that says blue and red.
