Default FAST vs Electromotive Tec 3

With the impeding release of a FAST for the LS1 I was wondering which one would be better, FAST or Tec 3. I'm turboing the stock longblock for now but later will go with a 383 stroker and really boost it. What do you guys think?

I have never really seen anyone run an Electromotive setup, maybe George Baxter with his 97SS?

Is the new FAST going to be specifically for the LS1, ie. have the correct connectors and everything?

Electromotive would get my vote hands down. Comes with it's own ignition setup, meaning no coil rewiring, 3 stage nitrous controls, etc., etc. I have played extensively with the TEC3, and love it.

The FAST has factory compatible connectors, uses stock crank trigger, has O2 sensor available but doesn't have coil packs. The Tec 3 includes coil packs but user must mount crank trigger and must get connectors to splice into stock system. Prices are similar. LOnSlow is the first I've heard using Tec 3. I'm sure he could shed further light on this, or I hope he does!!

The interface is VERY user friendly to me. Can't comment on factory crank and cam sensor plugs being usable though, as I've never seen it on an LS1. But, taking the stock ignition out of the loop, those are probably the only two connectors to splice to. The water temp sensor and MAP are standard connections, so they will plug right in.

i love the electromotive.. it is my favorite to work with.. and the durability and performance is well worth the switch.. ease of tuning is a plus also, not to mention the installation manual being awsome, they explain EVERYTHING.. even on tuning. very nice.

You can d/l the electromotive software and check it out from their website. We use electromotive on a couple porsche road race cars we prep here and I have only played with them on the dyno and the software is pretty easy to figure out. I didnt do the installs but the hardware looks looks pretty nice and never had a failure.

Well if you use a crank trigger I guess you could run the Electromotive. (I have FAST)
