how do i retard the timing for n2o and then swap back for n/a?
i run a 150 shot on a stock motor and everyone has told me to take about 6 degrees of timing out! but i dont want to ride around n/a or run n/a with the timing retarded.. how can i do this.... if i got a predator is it possible to set in the pits and retard teh timing for a spray run and then swap back to the powertune for a n/a run? i run spray 50% or the time is all.. so i need a way to do both or swap back ect.. dont know if i can do this with the predator, hp tuners or what? i know there are others out there with my problem or that had my question.. what do ya'll do? how do ya'll do it and with what tuner???? please help i need to order one buy tommorow!

The Translator he is refering to won't do what you want. It will only add or subtract fuel from the car and has no effect on timing.

All you need is 2 relay's and a 1000ohm resister. This way you cam have it automaticly retard the timing only on the spray.Ty them into the intake temp sensor so when you spray the system controls the relay and switches the temp sensor over to the resister. The resister will make the computer see 130degree intake temp and the factory program will pull 4 degree's of timing. With a programer you can adjust that timing being pulled

He probably won't HAVE to pull any timing (from stock) with his current mods and a real 100-150 shot. TNT however underrates their kits. So you shoudl probably limit yourself to a 100-125 shot. This is assuming he is running good 93octane gas at all times.
I put over 200lbs of N2O w/a NX wet kit through my stock motor at full stock timing on pump 93 with NO issues.I wroked my way up to that level while at the strip and didn't have any problems.
I was running TR6 plugs @.037 and a 160*thermostat.
Keep a close eye on your KR and you should be fine.
