Ls1edit Rev Limiter Problems Help!?!?
okay.... here it is: 2001 LS1 Z28 w/ Turbo 350 3 Speed Trans, Hughes 4500 stall (tightened up so not so loose), Ford 9 Inch w/ 4.11s, 28 inch tall tires, Cammed.
I have had the M6 flash put on the Computer so that the codes are not thrown looking for the trans that is no longer there. The speedo is right now, the 28 " tall tires and gears are correct. My problem is that the guy that tunes my car cannot seem to find why I am banging the rev limiter at or around 6200rpm. I can see it hit it in the street and saw it happen on the dyno. He is stumped. I know that he adjusted my rev limiter up to over 7,000 to account for stall slippage and still the same thing REV limt is changed in the primary and back up tables.
Do any of you have ANY ideas on what could be causing this? It has got to be in the computer somewhere!!
ANY leads you guys can give?

ok, so under engine, idle + Limiters you have
ETC Limit 7000, all the By Gears at 7000 (not sure if it makes a diff in an M6 .bin though)
All the By Temp at 7000
and the Delay at 0 from about 80* up?
May also want to try the Bad VSS at 7000 ... though if your speedo works this probably doesn't matter
if you want send me your .ls1 file to Mike@horist.com ... I *think* I can read it... but not 100% sure (I have edit v 1.3 but forget what years it works for)
ok in an 01
you have By Gear, By Temp and ETC Limit by Gear, make sure they're all 7000 ...
Another thing to consider... the PCM won't know what gear you're in right? so it may think you're in park/neutral all the time? if that's the case change the park/neutral rev limiter too
