Well the new boxes all come the same way now, They are all sequential with individual cylinder control,But can be run B2B,It has the ability to be run on different igntions now without sending it back. You can run up to and including a 5 bar map sensor (for us guys that never run more than 30#s of boost )
All the fuel and timing maps offer variable scaling, which will give you the abilty to fine tune way closer than the old box(Basically you set up the maps to the rpm and kpa/psi you want in any increment)
It now controls torque convertor lockup,(does not have electronic trans control)Has A/C idle up feature. Will now be connected to your vehicle speed sensor,It has 4 auxilary outputs that work off of TPS and RPM.
It has a built in boost control,10 analog inputs for such things as fuel and oil pressure,EGT, ETC...
4 stages of power adder(nitrous)control
You will now have a close loop gain table to fine tune the abilty to correct at a certain rpm and boost,EGR control
And can hold up to 4 switchable programs from a dash mounted switch.
And also has a check engine light if problem occur
The XFI is way more daily driver friendly, but has way more control for the faster cars also
Thats all i can remember off the top of my head

They are making a stand alone harness that fits all cars,The difference will be the ignition portion. Each stand alone harness has a connector for the type of igntion you need to run,So you will need to order a harness with a LS1 ignition,I am not positve,But i believe it will require the edist box for coil on plug.

Cal Hartline is a local guy that really knows his stuff when it comes to the Fast system and Buick's or anything with a turbo. He is a nice guy to talk to and has a wicked fast Buick that has run a 8.57 in the 1\4.
