I also am very happy with my LM-1. It appears to be very accurate. Cruising the freeway my AFR reads between 14.7 and 14.9 which I think is suprisingly close agreement with the narrowband sensors. Support from IM is also very good.

zeitronix just hasnt worked well with hptuners so alot of people shyed away from it...it is priced well though if you just use their software...and since his is an lt1 car it might be a good option.

I would stay away from the zeitronix. I have this wideband and had issues with getting it to work properly with HPT. I have since tried to contact zeitronix due to a issue I am having with the output not showing a voltage now and they don't really seem to care. I am myself looking into another wideband. I have priced out a few and the LM1 and FJO are both very attractive. FJO just released their setup with the bosch sensor so it is very affordable now for what they have to offer. If memory serves me correctly, you can pick up either for less then $400.

Retail appears to be about $365 with the bosch.

the only thing with that is he doesnt have an ls1 powered car meaning at this time his only option would be lt1edit i would think...meaning he wouldnt be using a scanner with an analog input that i know of...unless he spends the extra bucks for efilive or what have you. To save yourself $80-120 it might be an ok choice for him at this time.

But, the Bosch is another $200, right?

I would need to log data, so don't care about the pricey displays. There would be no integration with EASE or LS1Edit, so it looks like the RPM pickup is needed too, which means the dual channel controller?

Overall, seems more expensive than the Innovate solution.

Regardless of the program he is using, either wideband would be a fine choice. I would just stay away from the zeitronix. That is all I am saying. I have two emails out to them as we speak for tech help and no replys, but when I wanted to purchase it they were very prompt.

With either the LM1 or the FJO, you need the RPM pickup I do believe to use it as a standalone program. The LM1 with the RPM kit retails for $429 while the FJO retails for about $435. These prices include the wideband, sensor, and RPM pickups. If I am wrong on this, please correct me but looking at both units and the specs on their respective sites, this is how I see it.

Innovate seems complete: LM-1 Kit with RPM Converter (LMA-2) - #3724 @ $429

FJO seems more complex. You need a 2 channel controller kit: KWB3002 @ $385.50 + (wideband O2 sensor SO20003 $204.75 or SO20004 $70.75, why is Bosch so much cheaper??) + Clamp-on Inductive RPM Pickup HWB3003 @ $71.50, which comes to $527.75

Again, this is straight from FJO's site.

Single Channel Controller Kit - 292.25$
Bosch Wideband O2 Sensor - 70.75$
Total - 363.00$

You do not need the dual channel or the RPM pickup. You can tap directly into the tach/rpm wire on the PCM.

Yup pulled a section of the plastic back and tied the input wire around the pcm wire. I dont like cutting wires so the next best thing for me was to seperate the insulation just enough to show some copper
