I got hp tuners off another mamber and all i got was a cable?no cd?And is there anywhere i can get a manual for this thing.??Am i supposed to have just the cable>

 

the manual's on the CD but htat doesn't help much heh... you and the person you bought it from need to email support at hptuners.com ... once they square everything away you should be able to download the software from the HP Tuners web site.

If you want to view the manual right away, on the hptuners site under the product info you can download the manual.

I replied back to ya i need that cd with the 1.5 on it .if you login on the hp tuners site and read below the downlad button it says i need the original version to download 1.6 over it.

 

I have sent you another PM. Log onto tuners and download the 1.6v. It is the COMPLETE program that you need. Trust me.

 

I have tried i cant download 1.6 it just gives me an error.i need to put it over 1.5 which i dont have.I have to wait for hp tuners to give me 1.5 so i can download 1.6

 

1.6 should install fine. i installed 1.6 right over 1.4 that comes on my cd and it didn't need 1.5. i can't comment on installing 1.6 alone, but hey. sounds like Chad knows what he's talking about if its his old account.

 

Yeah i dont have anything to install 1.6 over.I am a new owner trying to get started so I dont have anything.
