Default Trim learn Disabled

We were tuning my car this afternoon with the EASE diagnostic software.

When I got there the car was throwing a code PO135 Heater Circuit Bank 1 Sensor 1.

We checked and the sensor was sending voltage and seemed to be working going from rich to lean.

Then we started looking at the fuel trims and they all read zero.

After further investigation the Fuel Trim Learn was Disabled.

So we cleared the codes and still we had the Trim Learn disabled.

So we reflashed the computer with the program again, drove around and still the Trim Learn was diabled.

So how do you get the Trim Learn to go back to Enabled??

Maybe an O2 sensor is bad?

Problems, Problems.

I know with my HPTuners software there is a VCM Controls menu in the scanner that will allow you to enable/disable fuel trim learn. You'd think that would clear though after the next iginition cycle (turning the key off, then on again).

Wish I could help you out more man.

If an o2 is bad it throws teh car into a mode that locks you at your SD/VE tables...and you dont get any trims..so you will get 0 on all...

most likely you have a bad o2....
just another reason why it is important to have a correct VE table

No worries man! Yeah, for me it's my tuning after the headers. I've had a great learning curve though and it's very satisfying when you figure it all out!

No, it throws you into open loop, not speed density. It will still use the maf, it just won't learn fuel trims. What fuel cell is it in?

I changed the O2 sensor today on bank 1 and the service engine light came right back on.

It seems to run ok, Idle sucks though, keeps stalling.
If I open the TB more it runs too fast and dosen't drop to idle for a while.
I'd like it to be learning the trims.

So it is still running off the MAF table?
Not sure on the fuel cell.
I'll check and reply.
