Need alittle help
Want to get HP Tuner but not sure if it will work later. Right now I have a 1999 Z28 with stock LS1 but this winter i want to put in a 408 or something along that line. Still up in the air....but what i need to know is will this work after i put in a new motor. If it will then great but if not then what do i need to do or get. Also what car should i pick for my second pick or does it not matter. thanks

yes, it will work with the new motor... the license is for the OS in the PCM ... since hte PCM will still be a 99 then you won't have a problem.
You may want to consider choosing both 99 and 02 licenses (you pick 2 when ordering) so that you can flash your 99PCM to a 2002 Operating system... it's better for speed density tuning

Compare the features of both suites and pick the one that best suits your needs (unless you want us to spend your money for you). I have had all three and use EFILive for scanning and flashing...

search the website and the individual manufacturer sites... you can download an EFI Live demo and the HP Tuners help file... the URLs are in the sticky on top "BEST TUNING SOFTWARE? BEST HANDHELD? BEST SCANNER" ... there are also search terms you can use in the sticky...
