Default A cool feature of 2.0 HPT

Just to let everybody know.. I got a glance at HPT 2.0 today...
it looks great...
and it looks like we will not need the MAF calibration worksheets any more
You can plot LTFT and STFT agains MAF Airflow table..and get a multidecimal return to get a % that you should adjust each individual cell by...

which means no more spreadsheet... jut do it in the scanner software

it looks real good....

Yeah, that is one of the features the EFI has had that I wanted for a little while, and then realized that since I have LTs, the feedback loop just isn't what it should be and I quickly gave up that idea. It would be a cool feature to have with manifolds though...

ever build a car? or assemble anything complex?

getting it 90% there takes no time... but that last 10%... man, you have to work for it.

id say, if they released it as is, there would be alot of people scratching their heads... looking like this guy. --->

of course i have no idea how fast they're working on it, or how far they are past the release i glanced at... so i cant guess a time... but the possibility of really soon is there.. but when its released, its going to be gooood.

2.0 is definetly a huge upgrade It's taken a while but I think it'll be well worth it... the one thing I love in the editor is the snap on graphs... view the full thing, or snap the 2d/3d graph in place w/the table view ... then as you move along the graph for hand smoothing you can see right away what cells you're modifying ... the compare feature and ability to export the differences to a text file is awesome too... I compared my V6 to my V8 ... there were actually a few things they had in common hehe

Sucker's fast too!

I'd give you some better feedback if you'd let me do some beta testing

As an engineer that is fairly skilled at breaking things, I'd poke some holes in it REAL fast
