Default EFILive Screen shots as requested by HPT

HPTuners have stated that EFILive cannot display certain views. it is that type of misinformed "statement of fact" that damages the credibilty of both companies.
https://ls1tech.com/forums/showpost....7&postcount=55

Just to set the record straight, here are two screen shots of EFILive in action. They show the screen shots that HPTuners claim are impossible with EFILive.

More importantly, the EFILive Tuning Tools screen shot shows the current cell that the PCM was using in the exact frame that is being viewed in the Scan Tool. No other Scan/Tune product can do that. Also, you can highlight a sequence of frames in the Scan Tool (i.e. a dyno pull) and see ALL Tuning Tool cells that were used in that sequence.

We have shown the untouched 100% screen shot - not some hidden/secretive half screen shot that has been edited after it was captured.

Paul, We do not doctor our screenshots.

It's nice that you finally undocked your scan tool windows. I did not know that and stand corrected.

The screenshots that you show are doctored - they have been cropped at least. Why don't you show the entire window? What have you got to hide?

A better screen shot of the Scanner and Editor working together. This highlight feature can be done for ANY table available in EFILive

Paul, I just shrunk them to save bandwith.

I have taken new ones for you with nothing hidden, cropped, doctored.. with shipping source.

So will us 98 guys see 2/3bar tunes with HPT????

From what I read posted by gameover in reference to 2.0
----------------------------
just to correct the info you have in relation to 2.0:

- custom pids = yes
- not sure what you mean by link between scanner and data but we can aplly histograms to editor data and also automatically create histograms (with correct axis labelling) from the editor tables.
- semi customizable guages doesn't rate on anyone not sure why it is there
- we get a red yes for full reflash?
- we support every LS1 from 97-06 (except very, very early 97's)
- also support every single OS for 2bar and 1bar SD (no need to upgrade or anything, just click the button).
- have LS2 in pre-production release
- start 4cyl beta very soon
- our EIO has 2 outputs as well as 4 inputs
- have a lower cost non-EIO option
- have USB in pre-production testing (with LS2, LS1, V6)
- since you are listing custom OS stuff, we have Boost Enrichment (2/3 bar SD) and also TPS modifier (1bar SD)
- all our enhancements have dual spark map support for SD and where relevant loses the secondary VE
- as of Apr 15th 2005 software updates became free

---------------------------------------------

Just trying to decide my next move with my tuning hardware.

yes

Yes, you can still import histograms. We make it even easier in 2.0. You don't even have to open up tables to do it in 2.0

- semi customizable guages doesn't rate on anyone not sure why it is there
Our gauges are fully customizable.

- we get a red yes for full reflash?
Yes, full reflash for 98's.

- we support every LS1 from 97-06 (except very, very early 97's)
Correct.

- also support every single OS for 2bar and 1bar SD (no need to upgrade or anything, just click the button).
We do not support 2bar on 98 vehicles, LS2's or V6's at this time. I cannot say for sure if/when we will release the 2bar for the 98's. If/when we do, we will most likely just announce that its ready and avoid pre-announcements.

- have LS2 in pre-production release
Correct.

- start 4cyl beta very soon
Correct. 4cyl and other vehicle types as well to be mentioned later.

- our EIO has 2 outputs as well as 4 inputs
Correct.

- have a lower cost non-EIO option
Correct.

- have USB in pre-production testing (with LS2, LS1, V6)
Correct.

- since you are listing custom OS stuff, we have Boost Enrichment (2/3 bar SD) and also TPS modifier (1bar SD)
Correct.

- all our enhancements have dual spark map support for SD and where relevant loses the secondary VE
Correct.

- as of Apr 15th 2005 software updates became free
Correct.

Our 98 product has been in customers hands for over a year now. It is a proven product.

sorry 98's are still not supported for 2bar or 1bar SD. My point was for 99+ we don't require you upgrade your operating system to something that is supported.

Unfortunately the 98 breaks a few key things in the way we deploy the PCM enhancements and at this time I have given up trying to come up with a workaround (believe me i did try!).

Sorry if i got your hopes up...

No problem Keith, I've been using HPT for a while now, first on my ATI set up, now with the turbo and I'm wanting to turn it up a lil further on the turbo than what I use to run the s/c at....hence my need for a nice 3 bar set up. Just want to tune it to the max using the stock PCM.

Hi Keith,

Just a "for your info", have you tried posting image in *.png format? They save bandwidth and have *much* smaller file sizes than jpg (for screen shots). Only 90K for very large screen shots and they are lossless as well.

Paul

oooooh, that would be helpful.

But when will customers be able to use 2.0, looks nice but posting screenshots mean nothing when I have no clue if/when I will be able to use it.

Can HPT 2.0 Do the highlight feature??? I'm not seeing it.
