Default How Do You Turn Off SES Light???

Is there any way to turn off the SES light? I recently just bought some headers and installed them and all but had to cut part of my y-pipe before the cat and now the cat is not getting it's normal air flow. I know for a fact thats the problem because there was about a 2" gap between the inlet of the cat and the down pipe. It's ghetto patched up right now till I get a new y-pipe thurs. Just wondering if there is any way to turn this off or can only someone at a dealership tune it out or until I get my new y-pipe??? Thanks!!!

LS1edit or HPtuners. But I would just learn to live with it though, or atleast until you get it tuned.

That wont solve it as he has tampered with the emissions on the y pipe. best bet is LS1 edit and remove that code value in the ECU or a programmer.

Wire in a light switch to the light, and mount it somewhere. Flip the switch when you want it off or on.

Lets make it harder by wiring other crap to the car, when you can easily have someone with LS1 edit just remove that code from the ecu. Save all the bullshit with the jerry rigs.

You're stuck with the SES unless you
Fix the problem or
Tune it out or
Install O2 Simulator for that post cat O2 sensor.

Turn key over half way so power is on but not started. Pop the hood. Remove fuse cover. Pull out PCM Bat and PCM IGN. Leave out for 5 minutes. Romove key. Put both fuses back in. Start car and light is gone.
