Default LSX install, +25 LTFT

Do I need to play with the VE table to get these #'s down. This is at idle . Mods are AFR 205's, Z06 cam, Hooker LT's, Nick Williams 90 TB, LSX 90.

Yes...you have most definitely affected the VE of the engine.

Off topic slightly, but do you have any numbers from that setup (the AFRs with the LS6 cam)? And are you using the AFR-supplied valve springs?

Default Lsx

Tuning with an LSX intake on the Dyno with a wide band resulted in around a one point difference in the AFR towards the lean side. so adjust accordingly.i.e. 12.9 to 13.9

Holy lean... That combo looks like it would take a little more fuel at idle, but wow... Must be the small cam combined with the high velocity AFR's?

We just finished the install around 1 in the morning last night and put in a basic tune on it and ran a quick idle scan and yes, we're running the AFR valve springs.

LOL, That's what I said. I told my friend to go with a bigger cam , but he wants to see what it will run first.

You have a very bad intake leak. Unmetered air is getting in somehow/somewhere

What?!? You finished at 1 in the morning, and haven't had it on the dyno yet? Blasphemy!

I'm just interested to hear the numbers after seeing Z06s put down 410+ with just the AFR heads.

I didn't want to hear that. We did hear a leak and found that we forgot to put the brake booster hose back on. When that happened the STFT were at +35 When we hooked it back on STFT 0 to -3,but LTFT +25. I guess we're going to try a little VE tuning and see if that changes things and if that doesn't work, we'll just have to reinstall the intake.

Yeah, if the ltfts don't come down after a reset you def. have a leak.

LSX flows a lot more air, so you gotta retune your VE, and it might be a significant change, so it's nothing out of the ordinary. If you're expecting leaks, do some WOT runs and watch the O2s/WB, see if they hold still or go bonkers.
