Default O2 trouble

i have a friend who has a 2002 camaro z28 m6, hedman 1 5/8 stepped to 1 3/4 long tubes, cutout just before the axle, comp custom grind XER 236/240 .601/.605 112, asp underdrive pulley, ported maf, ported tb. this car has gone through 4 sets of O2 sensors, front only, rears have been deleted, since he installed the cam about 3 months ago. we cant figure out any reason this car is doing this. its been tuned with hp tuners. this car with just bolt ons, on nittos, went 12.001 in the 1/4 (before cam). it never had a problem till cam was installed. car is a freakin rocket when its not burning up the 02's. any thoughts on why this keeps occuring?

Yeh, headers cause problems. You could weld two 02 bungs further up on tubes near the head.... the PCM does not like having them back so far in the exhaust...

franz has had these headers on for over a year with no problems, it didnt start burning them up until he put the cam in and got the car tuned for the cam.
