Your Favorite Handheld Tuner
i dont care what any of you guys say when my 98 was stock the hypertech did increase bottom end power.stock it wouldnt spin a tire without powerbraking with rthe hpp3 tune it would spin through most of 2nd gear.i read some guy put it on a 96 z in the thread that had headers and some other stuff,im sure he didnt gain anything its designed to work on a stock setup.i just wished i wouldve got somthin that done more thers nowhere in ,my area that tunes so i have to send off my computer everytime i add somthing else.
I have a 00' Firehawk and planning on Lt's, LS6 intake, reverse split cam, 230 range, ported TB, FTRA. Hoping for 390-400 RWHP w/ lots of tourqe.
Is that to much for a hand held or should i trailer it to a shop? I live in southern indiana and I don't know of any shops around that tune. Thanks. I will be keeping an eye on this thread.

I adjusted fuel trims, fan settings, etc., as per advise from their website. Although I'm an "old school" do it yourself streetrod guy, I found this handheld tuner to be very user friendly.
I'm not familiar with the other handhelds, but I could not be any happier with my decision to go with the Diablo Predator. Mike
glad my info could help ya out!

The reason I bought the Predator was to tune the car myself and that would have worked if I had not installed the GM LS6 heads and cam.
I have contacted the closest CMR compliant speed shops. The quotes were $400 - $500 and the nearest is a two hour drive away. I upgraded my efilive scan only to the commercial license. I think that is the way for me to go now. If all goes well I will have my barely touched Predator up for sale unless there remains a good reason for keeping it? Thanks.
