Hey guys wondering what your favorite tuner on the market is! We are currently carrying some of them, but nothing like knowing your true real to life experiences from such a diehard crowd

FYI I added handheld to the title since that seems to be what you're looking for (compared to the tuning suite's like HPT, EFI Live, LS1 Edit, Tunercat)

Also you may want to add the Crane Tuner to the list as it seems to be pretty popular as well and I believe it supports 98s now? (not sure if you can edit the poll , if not let me know and I can add anything you want to it)

The vinci tuner is the only one that I would even consider using, The rest of them are not worth the cost new, imho.

Yeah it would be nice to know which handheld everyone prefers. The only one that I have seen recommended is the superchips handheld. The guys from camaro magazine have an article that basically says they like the torque curve they saw on the dyno. They saw a 10 HP gain overall with a 27 lb-ft increase in torque around the 3000 to 3500 rpm.

I voted predator. Had mine for two years, and it never let me down. Ditched it for hp once I got the cam, though.

Good thing about the Vinci, you can adjust the idle for big cams,as well as a/f timing, etc,no other hand held will do that. You can make/adjust your own tune also. And delete torque managment for the auto's.I just purchased one for my c5.

My car has been tuned with the Vinci tuner and it runs verry hard! Love the fuel enrichment for WOT! Can't beat this tuner.

I have to post here that Hypertech is junk. and i do have real life drag racing results. time with hypercrap 8.23 1/8th at 82mph. without it, 8.23 at 83mph. i actually picked up a mph taking it off. just my 2 cents.

if i had to buy one I would get the crane, as its the best as far as handhel goes, but nothing beats a good dyno tune.
