Code P0154 (O2 Sensor) HELP!!!
My check engine light came on the other morning after having it out in the rain all night on Saturday. I thought it was my 02 sensor and it surely was when I took it up to get a diagnostic check for Advanced Auto Parts. It says CKT No Activity (Bank 2 Sensor 1), So that would be the passenger side front 02 sensor...correct? I went ahead and bought a new 02 sensor and put it in there tonight, but the light is still on.
Is there a way I can reset my ecu? Does disconnecting the battery do the trick or do I need to pull a fuse?
Or am I even understanding the diagnostic reading, and does it just mean it isn't hooked up correctly and I just need to play with the wiring?
Please help, I would like this resolved asap!
Thanks,
Ryan

hmm... if you put in a new sensor, the code should go away with time. otherwise, the guys at auto zone can clear the code for you as well. otherwise, look for someone in your area with a tuner that can reset the code for you...

It is illegal in the State of Illinois to delete codes unless a dealer is doing or you have your own tools to do it. I went to Autozone a few times and they would not delete the codes for me at all. I just umplugged the battery and have not driven it for 3 weeks. Im sure the problem is still there, just have to replace it sometime.
