Default Scanner PIDs not working

HP Tuners v1.7

Why is it that when I put in option PIDs like Trans Temp, Trans Torque output, etc, nothing will work. Go out and start recording but none of the new PID will display anything on the chart.

Also I downloaded a whole list of Config files, so that I can use them when logging for different stuff. I open up the scanner and choose to open config file, when I look at my chart, they are completly blank like it won't load them.

You have to set up the charts too. Just double click,or right click (dont remember) on the chart rows and you can pick what PID goes in there.

Yup I tried that too. The PIDs I select will show up in the chart but they act like their dead when I'm scanning.

I know how to do that, but then all I have are the defaults again. Why don't the config file that I have load the correct stuff instead of a blank chart?

This is what I mean. I added in Delivered engine tq, desired engine tq, and transmission temp. They show up on the chart but when I start recording, I don't get any kind of reading from them.

Read horist's post again. Did you add them to the table display? That picture is not the table display.

Ok, I think I figured it out where to add them. But when I try to add a new PID I get this error. Unable to add PID, 24 data bytes exceeded.
I tried deleting some other PID on there but still got the error.

Thanks guys. I just had to delete more PIDs so I could add the ones I needed. I got them added to the table so hopefully now they'll work when I add them to the chart and go scanning.
Thanks again for helping this poor boy out.
