Default Help me,need help with trans/tuning issue???

I have had this issue with my GTO for a few weeks now.I removed the verter, installed verter, retuned and everything was fine for 1000 miles..

Then I get the dreaded P0757 code which sometimes happens with vertered cars...So no biggie I turn it off via my edit and everything is fine but now all of a sudden I come to a light in stop and go traffic and the car feels like its slipping in 1st,It will shift fine but again its slips in 1st just like I had the PO757 but how can that be if I turned off the code?

Could that noid be failing,I read a TSB about noids going bad in our trans causing this to happen or something to that effect...

Its driving me nuts,I turn the car off come back and the cars fine for 1 day then boom it does it again...

It seems to happen in stop and go traffic
It all of a sudden does it,but no lights or codes..

I have the po300 tuned off/po757 turned off..Should I set them to a 2nd function light so if these codes are there I'll see them when the pcm looks the 2nd time..I have them on X no light now in edit....

Don't turn off the 757 code if you have a real mechanical issue. If you feel it slipping, it needs service. Go have the TSB work done.

It did it in my car and my boss's car and we both changed the verters
It cant be the trans, its tuning of somekind...

Why not turn off fthe light,I did as many have done it for verter installs
Its a commen thing to turn off certain codes?

The cars in 2nd not 1st,its like it throws a limp mode causing it to go into 2nd and then resets after I turn it off..If it was mechanica lit would it all the time...

Its definetly tuning or poss. the lu clutch could be failing and getting material in my trans? It locks beautifully on the hwy so I would say thats not it,its tuning but I get no codes, its a weird one for sure Joel....

that's when it is fine to turn off the code. unitil you do the TSB, you can not rule out mechanical issues.

I redid the light Joel and turned them back on
I'll drive it around and see if it throws the light again...
His slipped when the code hit but since elimating it he has been fine...
Maybe your right,if the light comes on again I'll drop the pan and check the noids.

I have this problem chronically with my '01 SS ever since I put in my 3200 Vig. I have found that if you drive around in stop and go traffic in D then it won't happen. If I forget and leave it in OD coming off the freeway going onto city streets, stop and go, then it happens almost every time. So I have to pull over, turn the car off, wait a minute, start it back up, and the problem is gone. I can either delete the code to turn the SES light off or it goes away on it's own in a couple of days. I already purchased new solinoids, I'm just too lazy to get underneath the damn thing and change them out.
