Default anyone experience this on warm starts?

when i start my car up warm everything is fine unless i go to drive right away. it will buck very bad on my and the LTIT and STIT will go way +. It will do this to me for a little bit then clear up and be normal. what kinda settings can i look at to fix this. plus the car also wants to bog down on me. after a min or so all is good.

I'm thinking you're over the closed loop enable
temp, but your O2s are not well lit, so it tries to
run closed loop with crappy input and goes nuts
trying. Then eventually the O2s get het up from
driving and things normalize.

My LS1 RX7 does exactly that. I have a wideband hooked up and I can see that it goes lean at the point of bucking. It clears up in a matter of minutes. I like the O2 not being up to temp theory.

Isn't there a cold engine timer setting that determines this behavior? I remember seeing a setting that runs the engine timer for a specified amount of time even if the engine is above the warm threshold.

i was looking for that. it is in the help file. closed loop delay after start up. however i dont see that in my tune anywhere. if anyone can comment on where this is, if it is there, i would love it lol

I can tell you where it is in EFILive, but I'm not very familiar with HPT.

Do you know whether it's in open or closed loop,
at the point where it's misbehaving? What is the
fuel air multiplier in the moment? Or some other
sign of intent?

multiplier is 1.00, friction airflow goes from about 1 down to 0 and then the STIT and LTIT jump to +1, the car is in ftc 20 so it is open loop AFAIK. ftc 20 is an enriched ftc and i figured it could be causing issues maybe. i believe it may do it in ftc 19 as well for a little so it would throw that assumption out. i will check again but i know for sure the majority of the problems is in ftc 20 on a warm start

I had a similar problem on warm starts where the engine was a bit rough when I would take off immediately. It was just enough to make the y-pipe bang on the crossmember, but it cleared out very quickly. I modified the EQ ratio in open loop table and that fixed it.

Yes. I saw that the table was "jagged" at the temperature this issue would manifest so I smoothed it out by lowering the EQ in those cells.
