Default Pcm - locked, what can be done?

Somebody locked this PCM. It is a 2002 firebird PCM. I cannot do a re-write on it, still says invalid authorization code with hp tuners. I have no clue who tuned it, as it has changed owners repeatedly in the past few years.. Is there anything I can do? Will the dealership take it as a core on new one?

Thanks,
Josh

as far as I know...about the only thing you can do is go to a dealership and have them reflash it to a stock program...

dealership cannot reflash locked pcm's. desoldering is the only way.

wow...that sucks....I though a buddy of mine told em that he had to take is pcm to teh dealer cause his was locked...maybe his was just a jacked up write from edit or something..

got a simple writeup of how to go about that??

nothing detailed...just something basic to tell the basic direction of things to do that??

guess that would mean cheapest route would be to find a junker at a parts yard and pull the pcm and make it yours...

lol, Just send it to me, i will unlock it for you. No need to pull the chip.
Just cover shipping for return. I do them for free. " AS long as it is by an unknown tuner and it is the last resort. " I gotta respect a guys locking wishes..

There can only be so many keys..

motorolla 68332
and I use IDA pro (64bit)for the whole decompile process...
I dont have anything to directly read the PCM chip other than HPTuners

My dad suggested this..

but I dont know if this will read the ls1 computer chips..and I am pretty sure the device they use at work involves desoldering the piece that holds all teh info on it

and I dont see anything in their site suggesting motorolla...so I'm pretty sure it wont do it
