Oh baby!
Ok so here it goes, I got the cable last night about 6:30. By 6:45 I had downloaded the "Pro Tuners" file. The interface for the download is pretty nice, it is straight forward and gives you instructions on what to/not to do. It writes it to a file with ".LS1" extention. You can then load up the editor and open the .LS1 file directly. The Editor then gives you some basic information on the contents of the file (build number, VIN number, Vehicle type, and what not). You then have full access to all of the tables. The first ting that was bugging me more than anything was the transmission shift points. So Ellis and I discussed the changes and he popped them in, it took about 15 minutes of toying to come up with the first batch of changes to the Tranny tables.
Second came some basic idle timing curves that needed to be addressed. Took just seconds to make that change! Then it was back to the car to upload the changes we made. The interface is the same as the download program, straight forward and informative. The upload was very fast, took about 2-3 minutes. From now on, thats all it will take as you only need to download the file once you make all of your changes to the file that you now have stored in a safe place). You can have as many different files as you want to make, so you can change the program out very quickly.
First test drive; Ah it was just amazing the change in the driveability! With the correct tranny shift points and TC lock up tables I can actually drive the car like an automatic again! Wow!
After that we needed to change some of the TCC lock up tables for some fine tuning, took seconds. Then loaded it up.
Second test drive, oh yea...
So, All in all it was a very good night, I was just pissed I had to go to bed! More to come...

has anyone loaded a 97-00 LS1Edit Program to a 01 or 02 PCM, or do you mean to put a 2000 PCM in a 01 then program?

I'll just wait. I don't need it now that I got my new Superchips programmer.
Is the 2000 PCM a direct replacement for the '01?
Is anything else needed for the swap besides the flashed PCM?
Johnnie
