BS3 with individual timing and fuel control would be around 1,800.00 shipped. BS3 also makes a entry level ECU that would run bank to bank with ignition control for around 1,000.00 ready to run. Call me at Wheel to Wheel when you are ready and I will help you get the right parts together.

As much as an MS freak as I am, that is a heluva deal right there. I will agree that for the money, BS3 seems to be the best choice in commercial standalones these days.
Does the entry level unit control the transmission also?

Hey Kurt, do you have a BS3 system that can run an LT1 setup if I still wanted to use the optispark.
And if so what would be the price for the individual timing/fuel control system, and a standalone harness to wire it all up....
The only other question I have is does the system have wideband o2 capability for that 1800 dollar price? And what kind of tuning knowledge do I need to have to set it up initially (like just to get the car to start/idle). I'm a previous user of Gen VI DFI so I have some tuning knowledge but I'd like to know if based on my setup you guys send the boxes out with an initial baseline tune so the car will at least fire. Thanks in advance...

I would just order it from Kurt since they can switch over all the connectors for you to match whatever you might be using. In my case, I had to get the tps, map, and iac stuff swapped from the normal ls1 stuff and getting that done before you get it would be a lot easier and cheaper than what I did. The guy that did mine (not w2w just a local dfi guy) actually wired the map up backwards and I didn't find that out until the 3rd 3-bar map sensor. $225 in map sensors is a little rough.

We'll be coming out with an EMS for the 99+ LS1 F-bodies soon. It will work with the factory wiring and sensors and requires no wiring - it's Plug and Play so it replaces the factory PCM. It will also have GM Class 2 / SAE J1850 support so the dash will still work correctly unlike other standalones. It will also have full control over the transmission as well as running the engine. You can find more info at AEMPower.com

AEM has by far the best online support and user community (as far as COMMERCIAL standalones go, not open-source ones). They set up good forums, aren't afraid of a little online constructive (or destructive) criticism and they work with customers for improvements. For commercial standalones, my opinion is these guys are the best. Frequently, on the MS-EFI boards, we're referred to informative posts on AEMpower forums, and oten they have cross references over to ms-efi. There is a healthy online community there - which I think is overlooked when selecting a standalone.
