Default MAFT adjusting lean....or too lean?

I have been ATapping with adjusting the MAFT (now at 0 base,WOT 4% lean) and have steadily reduced the WOT O2 avg from .915 @ 0%, .905 @ 2% lean, and .895 @ 4% lean settings. All LTFT's are zero and no KR. I know wideband testing can give me the optimum setting, but was wondering if I continue to go "leaner" until KR occurs can I assume that I am pretty close? I can definitely feel the increased pull at high rpm with each adjustment, but can I be too lean with no KR? I recently added the SLP fan switch which I believe is allowing the leaner setting. Should I continue adjusting leaner without concern of harming the engine?
Thanks for the input.

Dude, your L-terms are 0, KR 0, and you're not even below 900 on O2's <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

I say lean that chit out a tad more <img border="0" alt="[devil]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_devil.gif" />

When I get my baby back I'm gonna shoot for the magic # 880 <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />

EDIT: BTW, what does your A/F read at WOT?

So I just scroll down to "Show all Items" and use 8 parameters in the gauges for my taps.

Air/Fuel Ratio will be there <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

It sounds like you are using the windows version. I am not because of cpu limitations... I am going to look a little closer at the selections to determine which is the A/F info. Maybe I should try loading the windows version and just select the A/F gauge, O2 data, and TPS. How good is the gauge reading? Does it make sense for your numbers?
Later, Randy

IMO it can't be that accurate for me. I'd be running insanely rich if that were true, but my Ltrims are negative or at 0, and my o2's are at .880

So my A/F ratio setting can't be right.
