LS1-edit, on a 99% stock LS1 benefits...
other than adjusting my rev limiter and shift points and TM delete, how much HP can i expect to tweak out of it adjusting the air/fuel?
what about a mostly stock 01 C5?
I have 2001 hawk A4, lid, gutted maf (stock still lying around),TB bypass, SLP y-pipe and Loudmouth.
best 12.59@109
My buddy has a 2001 C5 A4, air box, TB bypass, GMAF, X Pipe, corsica muffs.
best 13.13@108 maybe

I would think it depends on how well tuned your car is now Lee. I'm curious to see what the record is for max HP out of a tune session is though.

Lee,
Your car is running excellent. It's hard to believe there will be much to gain.
Put your money in a TC before I have Jason kick your ***. <img border="0" alt="[fight]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_punch.gif" /> The 5 HP from edit will not give you the .5 gain that a decent converter will. <img border="0" alt="[judgement]" title="" src="graemlins/gr_judge.gif" />

I know I need a converter.... <img border="0" alt="[Fluffy]" title="" src="graemlins/fluffy.gif" />
"corisica muffs" i was lazy and didn't feel like looking up the spelling of corsica or spelling out mufflers.

sure you need a TC but the ls1edit would be nice too, if you guys didn't have the A4 i would say save your money but with the A4 you can control alot. so what if you only get a few hp out of tuning, the tranny and TM featurs are worth the cost. if you share the cost with your buddy it wont cost anymore than 2 hpp3.

The only way to fix it so far is by manipulating the base spark retard table.
