Just wondering, after looking at the instructions on the carputing site I was unclear about toggling SES lights. I noticed that you can turn the test on or off, but then there is an option for showing the MIL. All it shows on the freeze frame picture in the instructions is a Type B MIL. Then it says you can toggle it. So my question is, what are the toggle options? Can you make a Type B into a Type A? Or just turn it off? I’m asking because I’m going to be trying to undo some tuning that someone else did with Edit on my PCM and I don’t know if certain DTCs were a type A or type B originally, so I’m hoping I won’t have to choose.

You can toggle between: Type A=MIL on 1st error; Type B=MIL on 2nd error; Type C=No MIL light; and Type X=turned off. I could tell you what the stock settings are if you need to know.

One last question though...there are more rear O2s codes than just those 4 though, correct? If I encounter any others that are turned off, should I just make them a type B since it seems that all the others are a type B?? Or are these the only O2 codes that Edit lets you mess with? Like I said, another shop tuned my PCM with Edit and I’m trying to undo some of what they did, so if Edit can’t do it then I’m sure they didn’t do it.

The "list" is located in the "Engine Diagnostic" section from the "File" menu, and in the "Hardware Diagnostics" folder, in LS1 Edit. You have all the misfire and EGR settings, but I'll write out the rest of the O2 ones.

P0133 (O2 slow response, Bank1 Sensor1) "Type B"
P0135 (O2 Heater Circuit, Bank1 Sensor1) "Type B"
P0137 (O2 low voltage, Bank1 Sensor2) "Type B"
P0138 (O2 high voltage, Bank1 Sensor2) "Type B"
P0153 (O2 slow response, Bank2 Sensor1) "Type B"
P0155 (O2 heater circuit, Bank2 Sensor1) "Type B"
P0157 (O2 low voltage, Bank2 Sensor2) "Type B"
P0158 (O2 high voltage, Bank2 Sensor2) "Type B"
P1133 (O2 Insufficient Switching, Bank1 Sensor1 "Type B"
P1134 (O2 Transition Time ratio, Bank1 Sensor2) "Type B"
P1153 (O2 Insufficient Switching, Bank2 Sensor1) "Type B"

That's all the EGR, O2, and misfire codes listed in my version (2000 LS1).
