Ltrims +25% i need help!
Anyway, they both said at idle 25% and never changed when i gave it gas.If this is right is my car lean or rich?Or whats wrong here.
Also,on a-tap how do you check the IAC counts for idle?I can't find that.
Here's my list of mods to see what i'm dealing with:
LS6 intake
Ported MAF
Ported TB
Direct flo lid
Mac headers
X-pipe w/ dumps
Vig. 3200
3.73 gears
Thanks
Mark
The pcm is adding 25% fuel to try to get you back to where you should be at part throttle..14:1 a/f ratio

Get a bunch of cruisin miles. If it doesnt straighten out and you are set on the ported MAF then get a MAF-T.
Stu
means you are extremely lean and will be throwing a code pretty quick. LTrims are only adjusted up to +/-25% and after that you will throw an SES light.

Your right and i did throw a ses light. It was PO171 and PO174 which are lean bank 1 and 2.
I didn't know what was going on because I always ran a ported MAF and TB,then i put on the LS6 intake and got the codes. And I checked the intake 100 times and it has no vacum leaks so I take it its because of the maf,TB and intake.
Last weekend I put the stock MAF and TB on and the codes went away so i thought it was one of the two.
Whats weird is ,i went to the dyno and on the wideband it started out lean,it was 12.9.1 at 4300rpm's then slowly got rich going through the rpm's til 6500 running 12.4.1. So I think its lean on the lower rpm's.Also those wideband air/fuel #'s are without the ported MAF and TB.So with the ported MAF and TB I guess i'm extremlly lean.
Thanks guys for the help!!
I'll be getting a MAFT soon.
BTW: What if i just put my cam in,wouldn't that richen it up?
Mark
those ported ends make things all screwed up. With edit you can richen or lean your car anyway you like

Mark

On the dyno, you may have run into the Cat Over Temperature protection, which will tank your car into the 11's for a/f to protect your cats.
With the ported MAF, the cam will actually make the problem worse. The more air that you flow, the bigger the problem is going to get. Ported MAFs become less and less sensitive to air flow the more air that you move.
For example. At 20 lb/hr of air flow, your ported MAF may only be about 10%, reading too low. However at 30 lb/hr of air flow around WOT it will be somewhere around 20 to 30% off.
Either calibrate your ported MAF in with Edit, or an MAFT, or run a more accurate MAF, like the stocker.
Good Luck
