New LS1 Tuning will be out soon!!
Hi Mike,
Thank you for your e-mail. You will need a special converter to convert the OBDII communications to RS232 the PC can deal with. We're currently working with a couple of companies to provide this converter but if they don't pan out we'll do our own.
Like our current Tuner program, we have no plans to lock the program to a particular VIN.

<strong>Here's what I got from TC today when I asked about a converter box, cable and being locked to one VIN.

Thank you for your e-mail regarding the C.A.T.S. Tuner program.
We do not currently support the LS1's but we are now working on an OBDII version of the Tuner program that will . We hope to have it available early next year (Feb./Mar.). We have not yet set the price but we are trying to make it as reasonable priced as possible.
If you have any other questions, or would like additional information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
Best Regards,

And it is priced very resonable IMO. $350 or something for HPPIII. And I went in with some buddy's on Edit and it was like $270 per person or something, well under $300 ea for us 4. Plus then you have 4 minds helping figure it out IF you actually have any big troubles. And I highly doubt this program will be less than $300w/cable. And at that price I doubt it will top Edit's capabiities.
Hopefully it will be all everyones hopes for cheaper for your sake. BUT dont knock the best thing we have now. Edit is not a BAD thing or price by any means.
I have had LT1 Edit,TC LT1 program and HPP when I had my 94 Formula.
The HPP is over priced junk.$350
The TC program is cheaper and better than the HPP.But would not hold a Candle to LT1 Edit.$72
LT1 edit is a more complex to learn, because you have way more options. Most idiots think there is a button that push and it automatically super tunes your car.$85 bought it on in a GP
OPINIONS
Will the TC program better than LS1 edit,I do not think so.Will it be better than a HPP or Predator, most likely.
If you do want to take the time to learn how to use LS1 edit,TC sign up for a mailing list and ask questions about things,If you do not want to take the time to learn pay somebody like www.pcmsforless.com ($250),Ed Wright($350) or dyno tune it at a good local shop ($500) to tune you car and be done with it.
