Move IAT sensor for wet n20, can do?

This ? is for a wet kit. My iat and maf are seperate pieces, can I move the iat after the nozzle so the iat will see the temp drop. Log it and pull timing in the appropriate cells. Is there anything else IAT affects during wot? I believe it also affects the VE tables.
Im presently using the High/Low octane spark tables to pull timing at certain rpm vs. grams/cylinder. Looking for another way to pull timing besides getting a external retard box.

Moving the IAT will affect anything that uses it to measure air density. How much it will skew things, dunno, prolly depends how far you move it (the difference between the readings it recieves due to the location change.) Not sure what effect fuel getting on the IAT would do either.

I'd say put it into the intake itself, but repending on how
you deliver the N2O it may still not really read sensibly
(direct-port is still past the point of measurement). Plus
you have to realize the IAT has a fair bit of thermal lag
to it and you will not register true temp for seconds after
an abrupt change.
This is where a trick like jacking the IAT voltage by relay &
resistor would be handy, especially if you are able to edit
the spark and fuel tables at extremely low temp columns
low end being more realistic, while people often use the
high end for convenience if they can't edit but wanbt spark
pull).

The lag in temp reading is a no no.
Can you elaborate more on using a relay & resistor. Im assuming it has something to do with temperature and voltage being linear?
