And let me add, I am happy with HPT. The only thing that I am unhappy about is the increased pricing with the USB cable.

I must have missed the LS2 pricing for EFI live, I thought I read that the pricing is going to be the same as the v1 pricing.

http://store.efilive.com/overview_flash2.aspx

They are referring to the cables. And yes the TCM and the ECM will be licensed seperately

yeah they werent really clear with the ls2 licensing other then the tunershop stuff being two streams ie pcm/tcm being separate so I can only assume tcm/pcm individual licenses will be separate as well...I could be wrong but thats what it sounded like to me.

tell ya what.... ALL OF my friends were using HPTuners and suggesting it to me and said it is awesome....well I didn't listen to there advice and I got EFI LIVE and DAMN I LOVE IT NOW!!!!

2 of my friends with HPTuners have already asked me to help them tune their cars, as they went speed density (MAF less) and the couldn't dial in their VE table completely and since a LC-1 wideband hooks right up to EFI LIVE and I can configure it from there, I now have 2 people that use HPTuners using my EFI LIVE instead!!!

I had to help both of my friends with dialing in there VE tables and BOTH of them luv the way their cars run now.

Interesting, seeing how the streams are the same cost you would think the individual would be the same.

Weird, my LC1 worked just fine with HPT when I was doing my SD tuning.

Anyways, why does everyone attack each other just because they state they like one vs another. I mean, come on guys just use what you like and deal with it.
If one works better for someone else, then just let it be. This topic has sounds like a religous debate and people are trying to convert others into their religion.

Rant away fellas

I think most of it is people liking to hear themselves talking...and possibly justifying their $ paid.

Bottom line: both programs are light years beyond what LS1Edit ever was or will be. There was a time when we didn't even know what speed density was.

I don't know about you guys, but even though I'm an EFILive user Gameover has always been more then helpful to me. I can't imagine they'd be too terrible to their paying customers.

I've done some beta testing for them, and I'll be the first to tell you that those guys work some crazy hours. If they are short with anyone, it is because of lack of sleep...I routinely get replies from them between 1-3AM their time.

I know Paul and Ross spend some crazy hours bringing us EFILive. However, I get the same friendly responses from them whether it be 0300 or 1500. I also rarely have to wait more than an hour or two before I hear back from them. It's nice doing business with a customer focused company.

HP Tuners has owners on both sides of the world. I've emailed them questions at 2am over the weekend and got responses within the hour from Chris in Australia. lol.

I would be alittle curious as to the context of those PMs.
