Default where can i change crank output on pcm to 4 cyl? HP TUNERS

where can i change crank output on pcm for 99 firebird ls1? I have an autoemter tach setup for 4 cyl. Id rather not have to take dash apart and cut the wire to convert it.

Thanks
Dave

you don't need to change the PCM... if your Autometer tach is setup for a 4 cylinder then just tap the tach wire and you're set...

w/the way our crank signal works you have to make items that feed off the tach signal think it's a 4 banger signal (just like if you install an MSD window switch, you have to cut both wires so the window switch thinks the input is a 4 banger)

i know that but i was told that there was a place in HPT to change to 4 cyl crank signal pulse w/o affecting anything else. Id hate to have to tear my entire dash down just for this.

Here's the cal in EFILive, I'm sure HPTuners offers a similar calibration. Maybe someone from HPT can show you the equivalent calibration.

Dave, the tach output configuration is in Engine->General.

It's in the latest 2.0 and is in 2.0.17 I believe. If you need an update just e-mail me.

Thanks!
