Full tuning suites offer much more control over the handhelds and are hands down the best solution if you're willing to devote the time to learn how to read scans and tune your car. A Wideband O2 sensor is also an item to look into.

there is so much to change with a cam to make the car run like it should taht a hand held really cannot do that. the tuning suites allow you to log and change parameters that a handheld wont, it is hard enough to get a bolton car right with a handheld IMO

A handheld is just that...a "Hand" held...pretty much only good for monitoring purposes...and a lot of times they can actually be pretty harmful if they aren't used properly. If you just spent a buck on your engine...don't skimp out on the tuning cause a tune can make or break your combo...and a hand held won't get you there...ever. Just like WS6FirebirdTA00 said, get EFILive/HP Tuner and a WB02 sensor and tune the best way to maximize the money you spent on the hp you are striving for.

right now, there are no commerical available handhelds that allow full custom tuning. The closest thing now woudl be the crane/vinci tuner, it has some cam profiles that can be selected.
A custom tuned diablo predator, might be able to get the car tuned, but I don't think i can name more than 1 shop that I know of that tune them.
