Tuning W/out Having Car
Tuning W/out Having Car Does anybody know of a sponsor or anyone that I could UPS my computer to so they could tune it with out having the car? Can that even be done? I was just wondering because I have called everyone in the Albuquerque area and nobody messes with LS1's.Thanks.
Take a look at Texas Speed, Thunder Racing, and several other sponsors do the mail order tune, it may not be exact, but it'll get you pretty close (cost is $150-$350 depending what you want/need done)
I am in Alb, New Mexico. There is nobody out here that deals w/LS1's.I have a 2000 Firehawk. I just want to get some more out of it.I have read Tuning does wonders but I dont want to mess w/LS1 edit or anything like that.I just want somebody to tune it like it should be and then I can just enjoy it.

since you're looking for a mailorder I would take it to a board sponsor (list on right, most speed shops offer mail order tuning).... Speed Inc, Thunder Racing, Texas Speed & Performance ... all do excellent work....
however... what mods do you have done that you want a tune for? Mail order tunes are hit or miss.... post up your mods... and what you want from a tune... depending on mods a mailorder tune may just be wasted money..... (dyno tune or wideband tune are the only ways I would ever tune a car for performance.... as far as I'm concerned mail orders are only good for tricking emissions and changing predicatable parameters)
