I didn't want to make a new thread, so I'll add to this. I have the same basic setup with a TR 230/224 .575/.563 111 LSA cam. I have a m6 with 4.11's so its no problem driving around. I just want to know if I can do a few WOT blasts, and be fine.

I ran my 01 z28 for 1 summer or about 5k miles after installing a tr224 cam, LT headers, TD's & lid.
After getting my HPT I found out that my AFR's were at around 13.0 to 1 from 4k rpm up which is OK. What was surprising is that from a standing start below 4k rpm I was going very lean & getting knock.
