Default Stupid LC-1 acting up again!

Went through just about every troubleshooting idea before replacing the Serial EIO with MPVI and then the WB worked fine. Four weeks later. I start up the car and check the WB output and it reads a fluctuating 20.45-20.65

Any ideas on where to start? I am going to check the output using Logworks tomorrow and see if it shows something else. Hopefully it shows 14.7 or so and that way I KNOW its a wiring issue with the EIO.

This is just getting annoying.......

Yeah. First thing I tried was to unhook the WB, power and LC-1 and then do a full recal. Nothing changed....I will see what logworks is reading today and go from there. Everything was working great and then this

Ok, I am not sure what it is now

Car Running:
-If I watch it through logworks V2 it reads perfect. Once the car goes to closed loop it jumps right to 14.7:1 .

Car Running:
-If I turn on HPtuners it wont move from 20.4X-20.6X. If I log raw voltage through hptuners it reads 4.3-4.4 Volts. If I turn the WB off and then look at HPtuners it reads 1.3-1.4 Volts. (note, this voltage value is not affected if the ground wire going to the EIO is connected or not)

Key OFF Position:
-If I just take the analog "IN" line from the LC-1 it reads like 0.8 volts on a DMM while warming up and 3.0 volts once heatup is complete.

Car Running with Key in ON Position:
-If I just take the analog "IN" line from the LC-1 it (DMM) reads 4.4 once warmed up.

Note: this is a brand new MPVI EIO that i have been using for a month and it has been working fine.

your LC1 is bad....
most likely the output DAC

how do you have it wired up..
tell me where every wire is connected

Damn LC-1 better not be bad! I just got done upgrading to MPVI EIO!

I dont have it in front of me but I believe:

Heater Ground --> Chassis Ground
All other LC-1 grounds go to EIO black wire (ground)
Analog output 2 goes to EIO
Power comes right off battery, through a fuse, and through a switch
Calibration wire goes to EIO ground in parallel with LED and Momentary Switch. It has been working fine for a couple of weeks so I would assume that I have the wiring right.

Could I just use analog output 2 from LC-1?

DAMMIT!

I have ALL of my grounds going to chassis ground. I ran one ground for analog 2 to the EFIlive interface from the same chassis ground. No problems here.

I'm having the same problem... Logworks shows current AFR but analog 2 has a fixed voltage output “4.5 to 4.7” and just like yours it just started acting one day. But the analog 1 “narrowband” is reading just fine and that leads me believe the DAC is working on mine. I have talked to innovate about this and they confirmed there is only one DAC in the lc-1 so if it was the DAC the output for both would be out of rang

So I would test the analog 1 and see what output you get, I haven’t had the time to work on mine more. Plus I’m out the warranty.
