Ok now what... biting the bullet w/tuning?
well I finished my engine, im driving it, ITS A BLAST!!!! the engine is a short block ls6
CNC heads stage II very early design (periferic bolts) (60!? cc heads)
219-227 116lsa very early cut lunati cam
ls1 intake
stock 28lbs ´98 injectors
ported maf, -screen
polished TB, undercut blade axle.
LT headders (steped, hedman´s)
custom y pipe
atermarket cat,,,, er, header-back 3"(not sure the brand, certanly a cheapo).
free flow intake, (again not sure brand) but you know the thing on top of the filter.
leaved the EGR funcionality.
cat sism
lightened flywheel
DEFINETELLY IN URGENT NEED OF A NEW CAL.
HERE IS MY DILEMA:
since I live in a foreign country, it is very difficult to ship things in and out... time consuming and with very high risk involved... not to mention E*X*P*E*N*S*I*V*E!!!!!!!!!
again w/ time consuming betwen calibrations (thisis because I seriously doubt the car will be good at first try).
I´m very mechanically inclined, but with little knoledge in EFI, (I´m very eager (spelling?) to learn) (HIGH RISK OF BUSTING ENGINE!) I definetelly understand the dinamycs (spalling again??? sorry) of engine internals, as well as mixtures, timing isues, etc....
I have limited testing aids (no dyno) some chemical gas analyzers, obdII diagnostics and monitoring, live very high (altitude that is!!!) 5000´ over MSL
fortunatelly I do not have to content with the smog *****, nor speed limits he he he!
OK::::
