Guys,

Call it what you want, RTT was designed to be cost effective, functional and MOST importantly fun.

I think we hit our mark, so go out and enjoy it

I can't. I need to upgrade to the Enhanced OS first.

I would much rather have this then the other guys solution to real time tuning, heck for their price might as well just purchase a real stand alone (AEM, FAST, etc ...). Bottom line ... HPTuners has raised the bar again, for others to try and jump over.

I just got my HPT stuff in the mail today. I havent installed it on the laptop yet, but I have the 2.1.10 disk. Can I just get the 2.1.12 and install it instead of the disk I have? I also havent got the update yet and I have the big dog pro setup.

the initial install usually goes better by using the disk, then just download & upgrade to .12.

If you can install the update and it doesn't throw you up an error (our installer does some checking), then you're ok.

You will need the CD for the drivers though.

I would send an email to support at hptuners dot com & make sure you add them to your address list so it doesnt bump it to a spam folder or anything.

no, they are either going to stop the ability to read them, have an option to hide them, or maybe give an option to take care of them. i dout they will have a way to delete them. they have discussed time and time again that they are after performance and the bcm doesnt offer any performance gains. who knows though. they might have something soon?

Ever since I upgraded to the 2.1.10 My laptop runs pretty slow (exremely). Its an older one I just use for tuning and thats it. I dont know the stats on it , but will this 2.1.12 make it run even slower? Or is it pretty much the same as 2.1.1? It logs fine, but opening up the editer takes forever. What are the minimum pc requirements to run this program? is it alot bigger? I think im already below the ones for 2.1.1.
Thanks.

from what i understand they "should" be able to do the 98's...the way they are segmented makes the the hardest to do though which is why they didnt come in the first batch...eventually it should funnel down to the 98 2 bar OS though not sure of a timeframe though. As far as other stuff they've honestly got too much stuff in the pipeline as it is with ford/dodge stuff waiting in the wings, but im sure they have some other tricks up their sleeves at this point.

Excellent I really hope the 98's can do RTT especially with the 2 bar OS. Crossing my fingers that HPT can find a way to bring RTT to us 98 guys, if they aren't then i'll just have to swap all my stuff to a 99+

I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the 98's do not have enough free ram to implement the RTT tables. I looked at several different options, but there won't be enough functionality to be of any use.
