Default anyone with BS3 and auto transmission option..come in

Is there anyone out there who has successfully used the BS3 engine management on a C5 automatic corvette.....more specifically ..using the original / stock VSS (vehicle speed sensor) that is located in the rear end.

please give me names and numbers / contacts

I am having a problem with the Big Stuff interperating the signal the C5 corvette vehicle speed sensor is putting out...

Thanks Tom Ulrich

You might email BigStuff3 support, lots of the BS3 guys run TH400s and stronger transmissions.

What did your BS3 dealer say when you contacted them? The dealer should be able to help you or supply some answers.

W2W was who I purchased it from. Rich is going to put a C5 sensor on the bench.....but without knowing what the BS3 needs to see...I am not sure what to do with the info. At this point I am in the middle. Rich and John Meaney should speak and troubleshoot this problem until it is resolved. This is how I feel the problem should be handled. John checked the Unit and told me "I put it in my truck and took it to lunch...worked fine"..that is as far as testing went!. Well I am not installing it in a truck....its installed in a C5 (and it doesnt work!!!!!!) ...so the unit should be checked with a C5 corvette.......to figure out what the problem is!!!

Sorry if I am short....I am just VERY frustrated and disappointed....I have been working on this project for a year and have over 70,000 dollars invested and I just feel like the problem has just been brushed off and thrown in my court by John. I appreciate Rich putting in the extra effort...hopefully John and Rich can get the problem fixed..

John does not have a C5, but we should be able to help you figure it out. Does the engine run? When you put the trans in gear, what happens?

need more info other than 'it doesnt work'

if you spliced off the correct wire(s) from the vss and you have the tooth count correct in the configuration...

No wires were spliced....the configuration was setup for the gear ratio, reluctor count /(40) and tire size. The trans does go into gear gear. The trans and speedomenter work fine with the stock ECM and dash.

Called John today....I was told he is working on a solution ....

Dale has never done a C5 corvette trans unit with BS3
