HPtuners EIO malfunction/broke?
OK, I have hptuners with the EIO and I am having trouble with my wideband. I used an LM-1, and I know there is a voltage signal getting to the EIO, but on my scanner it reads a constand 12.5:1 a/f in all cells. Has anybody had this issue?

Can you elaborate? Not quite sure what you mean by slot. I have it plugged into the EIO input 1 (white wire), and I just used the standard PID for an LM-1 in the scanner.

Ya, I borrowed the LM-1 from a friend. My LC-1 did the same thing, so I am pretty convinced something is wrong with the EIO, just don't know what. I contacted HPtuners a week ago and have not heard back yet.

Ground from the LM-1 goes in slot 5 on the EIO the whit wire goes in slot 1. Hook the LM-1 up to your laptop via the serial port and program it to
voltage AF
0 10
5 20
in the advance tab set it to 1/6 and program.
I personally used the above settings on both outputs. Make sure the wideband stored the settings.
In HP tuners add the Wideband PID to the table and select the LM-1 config.
This should fix your problem, as the voltage settings of the wideband more than likely were a very small increment. You can check the output voltage of the wideband with a multimeter if that doesn't solve your problem and make sure that it is sending the correct voltage to the EIO.

Well, I had dynotune check out my lc-1, and it should be back this week. I will start over and hook it up from scratch and see what happens. If it still does not work then it has to be the EIO.
greatwhitess, your procedure is the same thing I do normally.
