Wideband Discussion and Poll
I'd say save yourself the money and get the LC-1 whether or not you want it to be portable...I went to RadioShack and spent like $30 and mine is portable, durable, and functional.
Although, if you have the money...I would get the LM-1 just to save the trouble if you arent into wiring stuff....it's fun for me..... "Yay! wires!"

How did you make the LC-1 portable? 12v battery? And what about the logging function of the LM-1? Is there memory built into the LC-1?

As for portability, before I got my LM-1, I made a plug that allowed me to connect the LC-1 to the existing O2 sensor connection. This and quick disconnects for the analog output, made install/removal of the LC-1 a 5 minute job.

You don't need to see AFR all the time but you do need to log it with the other important data.
I ordered the PLX on the GP today without Guage. It is probably the closest to a sensor and controller with Analog out at a reasonable cost ($185 shipped).
I did use my Tech Edge at a Dyno Session today and it was way cool to have the logged WB data on my EFILive scan.

I can't validate the added cost though.
In fact, just tuning for the leaner bank means you will never have any problems as both sides will be either = to or over 14.7 and costs less as there is only one sensor.
I really believe you aren't increasing engine performance much compared to the added cost. That is why I don't promote dual WB short of if you want to know if one bank has an issue. I completely see your point though!!!
I voted for LM1. I like the portability of it. With the window mount its very easy to use.
