Default FAST dual sensor wideband??

Anyone running this setup? I bought one cheap and I am about to get around to installing it. I thought I read somewhere that this setup will send a narrowband signal to the pcm. If this is true, can I not just install the sensors in the stock location and remove the narrowband sensors all together?

Thinking of purchasing this dual-wideband setup as well.

Wondering if anyone has any thoughts on it or experience???

Damn straight! I had a autometer WB on order from summit and they pushed the estimated delivery up until the middle of march so I found the FAST dual-wb setup on ebay for $438 shipped!!!

That is less then FAST's pricing for the single kit and only $88 more then the jackasses at autometer's gauge.

Just hope this thing works nice...

for a professional tuner, duals are not overkill.

I like to use 2 AFM 1000's when I am tuning.

If you want to fine tune down to the bank, then yeah, I guess if you want to sqweak every single horse power out.

If you really want to be **** you'd get a wideband for every exhaust port.

I have found a lot of bank to bank variance issues with using 2 widebands. Especially on other brands of SOHC/DOHC motors

8 widebands is just overkill.

For most of us without BS3 it really doesn't do much good but it is nice to be able to see what each bank is doing by itself.

Plus I want to see how my fuel system holds up at high hp levels. I don't have it y-blocked to the back of each fuel rail. I have it coming in the front of the pass rail and exiting the front of the drivers rail then into reg. Everyone insists that you can't get enough pressure/volume to both rails that way but at 70+ psi I say bull.

And I will know if I am right by watching the fuel pressure (that would drop at the reg if losing pressure at the drivers rail since the reg is after the rails) and by watching the AFR of each bank w/dual-wb sensors.

I guess we will see...

Make sure that you use the back bungs and not the ones in the headers. If you are going to be using them all the time, plan on replacing the O2's once a year or so.

I presume you mean the rear sensor fittings if you don't have catalytic converters. If the car does have cats, you have to install the wideband sensors before the cats. Otherwise the data is useless.

Are you saying that without cats the wideband sensors should be installed in the rear bungs?

He is saying that without cats they "can" be installed in the rear bungs. Iinstalling them after the cats (if they were still on the car) wouldn't give you good readings.
