Default o2 Sensors???

Well since i bought my car i knew that the o2's on it were bad, i have pacesetter longtubes. The owner told me they were bad. So at this point i have noticed that my gas milage has been sucking compared to all my other ls1 friends in town. Would bad o2's cause bad gas milage? If so would simulators fix the problem? Thanks!

You'll need the front O2's working to achieve proper mileage. The rears should have no affect, and can de disabled or deleted through tuning.

you got an o2 sensor in each header (so 2 all together and 2 headers right?)
Those are the only ones you really need
get new ones if you desire
they are supposed to be changed every 60k

if the front o2s are bad that will effect you gas milage, but the rears will have nothing to do with it. Is the car throwing any codes? if it is go get it scanned and bring us back the code. If its a bad rear o2 you have 3 choices--you can get the rear o2s tuned out threw a custom tune(a mailorder tuner can also do this), or you can get o2 sims which is probably going to be easiest and cheapest, or you can deal with the SES light being on.
Now if you have a bad front o2, your going to need to replace it. this will cause bad gas milage and hurt performance a little. if you have LT's id look into using the bosch o2s from the vettes. the part number is 13111.

Yea my car has had the SES light on since i bought it, i mean sometimes its not on but eventually it always comes back on. The previous owner had the codes pulled and said it was something with a bad o2, thank you so much for the help.

well go get it scanned again, and bring is back the code(s). then we can tell you exactly what o2(s) is/are going bad.
