P0174

Fuel system for bank 2 was too lean. Any ideas, I just bought another MAF it'll be here FRI, any other things it might be???

If it was the MAF, it would probably set both bank lean codes, not just bank 2. You need to hook up a scanner and see what the Ltrims are and what the O2s are doing. Providing a lot more info on the car always helps too.

do you think it could be a bad 02 sensor on the right side.. wouldn't that have it's own code though.

It could be a number of things. On all the trucks, the intake gaskets are bad about leaking and setting p0171 and p0174. There's a reviesd gasket for those. I have seen them set just a code for one bank only. I have only seen these codes once on a vette due the gaskets, but never on a f-body.

well I don't have a techII or any scanner at that , how much does it usually cost just to find out whats wrong with it at the GM dealership.

Depeneds. At the dealership I work at, it is usually .5 hr for diagnosis which is like $42.00.

well I guess I'll just take it in and find out what's wrong, and then take it home and fix it...I know you guys must just hate that..take the time to bring it in check it out and not get any more tenths to fix it...but hey I'm broke...
