Default Non Tuned Tr 224

I just got my cam in today is a Tr 224 563 from thunder racing . I took the car out last night let it heat cycle the valve springs and then let is set over night. Today I went for a drive and wasnt impressed at all. I understand its not tuned . Ok so here are my Questions

1 how long does it take the computer to learn that the cam is in there.

2 is it normal for it to load up real bad after revving

3 There is quite a bit of smoke coming from the pipes when I get on it.

4 Where the hell is the horse power out

5 how much more power will I get from a tune!

You're going to pick up quite a bit, a few people have made 390-400rwhp with that cam. I wouldn't take the car to WOT again without a tune.

thats how I felt when I first got done. Without the tune it feels almost like stock.
After it was tuned it felt way stronger.

The TR224 cam is a great street cam. It should make some great power after you get it tuned. Be careful that you don't do too much driving before your tune unless you want to buy some O2 sensors. I smoked one of mine just on the drive to the dyno/tuner

Give me a break dude.

1) The computer is not going to "learn" that mod.
**** the rest, if you had been half way paying attention, utilizing the wealth of knowledge already on this board you would be not doing/asking such retarded things/questions.

I am sure you are a nice guy, READ, ASK, DIGEST. Donot buy, ask, flounder.

In short, you need a qualified tuner to diagnose/tune your ****. Yes, if he/she is worth a ****, you will gain.

Mine was the same way, felt the same after the cam until it was tuned.

You have to be careful with internet experts - don't know who told you it will learn that cam but it won't. It will get better but it'll take time and it won't be right until it's tuned. Right now it is running pig rich and needs more timing to take advantage of the chnged valve events and lift.
