Default HP Tuners & Hitting rev limiter w/ new convertor

I have a 98 Trans am. It's got 3.73 gears and put in a Fuddle 3500 stall convertor. Ever since I put the convertor in it won't shift 1-2 or 2-3 without hitting what appears to be the rev limiter. I have HP Tuners and have changed speedo, TM, line pressure and anything else to do with the trans. It still hits the limiter. The trans is shifting perfectly now. I bumped up the fuel shut off also but still no luck. I could use some advice please.
Thanks, Chris

add one quart of tranny fluid.....as strange as it sounds it works.....has to do with the fluid uncovering the pick-up during WOT.....

The trans fluid is full. Are you suggesting to overfill it 1 quart?

Check the shift speed (MPH). The tranny settings need to meet both requirements (speed and RPM) to shift, I believe.

Yeah, you need to take out enough MPH to get you back the
400RPM or so of top end slip you now have. My rule of thumb:
count the bounces and take out 1MPH for every "Wup" in the
wup-wup-wup. You'll get to the right MPH setting soon enough.

I'm changing all MPH tables and it does seem to be working for WOT. THANKS! However the car seems to be shifting sooner now when I'm just cruising. How do I get that back up? Should I just be changing the "performance" table?

Unless you have the tow/ haul pushbutton, the performance table isnt going to help you. You need to adjust the "normal" table. You can keep them the same for piece of mind.
For non WOT, adjust the "part throttle shift" under the "normal" tab.
